Okay, This Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Souvenir Officially WINS Everything

Y’ALL. Can you believe it’s time to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom?!

The Princess and the Frog-themed water ride is set to open to everyone on June 28th, 2024 after sets of previews for exclusive groups of Disney fans. Since construction started in early 2023, we’ve been anxiously waiting for the day we got to experience the attraction…and that day is here! We previously got a sneak peek at the animatronics, new characters, queue details, and more, but now we have to talk about merchandise!

Of course, one of the most exciting parts of getting a new Disney World ride is all the new merchandise that shows up with it. We got to take a peek at all the merchandise that would soon make its way to Magic Kingdom, but one souvenir in particular caught our eye.

Yep, we’re here to chat about an all-new FIREFLY TOY!

We got to take a look at this new toy over at Critter Co-Op — one of the merchandise shops located near Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

It looks just like Raymond, and comes in a little lantern. Here’s where it gets cool, though. It’s INTERACTIVE! You press the button on your firefly’s back to make it interact with other fireflies.

We think this could be a great one-of-a-kind souvenir for kiddos or even grownups! It honestly makes for a neat park accessory.

Planning to ride when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens at Disney World? It officially opens on June 28th, and there are two ways to experience it. You can either purchase Genie+ and make a Lightning Lane reservation for the attraction, or you can join the Virtual Queue at 7AM or 1PM.
