Could This HUGE Change Come to the Disney World App Soon?

Disney World can be a confusing place. It’s true.

The parks are massive, there are exciting things around every turn, and if you’re not used to being in the parks a whole lot, it can truly feel like a maze. That’s when the Disney World app comes in handy! From the app, you can access maps of the parks so that you can get to where you’re goin’ with ease. Plus, there are physical maps that you can pick up around the parks as well. There’s only one problem. These maps don’t really help if you need help finding something INDOORS.

Yes, Disney World is home to several large indoor spaces that can be confusing to navigate. From The Land pavilion in EPCOT to the Emporium in Magic Kingdom, it can be tricky to find all that you need without a map.

The Land

Well, Attractions.io is making indoor navigation EASIER at some theme parks! They just shared that they were launching new easy-to-use maps for indoor sites — even those that have multiple levels.

With this tool, you’ll also be able to plan routes to your desired destination within a building. How cool is that?!

Connections

Attractions.io is behind the maps of theme parks like LEGOLand, Heide Park, Alton Towers, and more. The only problem is that Disney isn’t currently on that list. 😭

Animal Kingdom

However, if this becomes an industry trend, there’s a good chance we’ll see Disney add it to the My Disney Experience app. This would truly be a game-changer for so many folks!

Maybe the indoor maps will come soon to Disney World!
