If you’re planning to visit Disney World soon, keep an eye on the park hours!
At Disney World, we’ve seen park hours change at a moment’s notice. Whether it’s closing early for a party, opening late for another reason, or the BEST change — extending their hours for a day you plan to be at the parks. Most of the time, changes are put on the calendar fairly early, so guests have time to check it out so that they can prepare for their visit. Well, there is a change coming SOON to park hours, and we need to warn you.
Planning a Disney World vacation takes a lot of time, effort, and coordination. When you finish planning, it is like a weight off of your shoulders and you can forget about it until the time comes to leave for your vacation. However, it is still important to keep an eye on park hours before you leave for your trip to make sure there aren’t any changes on the day you plan to be there. Luckily, we are also keeping our eyes open for any changes in park hours — and there is one change we noticed that is happening SOON.
If you’re planning on visiting EPCOT on April 21st, it may be time to adjust your plans. Instead of opening at its normal 9 AM, the park will be opening at 10 AM. We know this isn’t a major change, however, it is still important to note if you plan on rope dropping the park.
If you’re staying at a Disney World hotel and plan to utilize Early Entry, you can enter the park as early as 9:30 AM to get a head start on your day.
If you have a dining reservation before 10 AM, don’t worry! You will still be allowed into the park to make your dining reservation. Just let the Cast Member at the park entrance know, and show them your reservation confirmation — and you’ll be good to go!
We know it can be stressful when you have to adjust your plans for these changes, so make sure you do what you feel is best! Whether it is hitting a different park that day, taking some time to sleep in, or even deciding to have a resort day — you now have the knowledge to make those changes ahead of time.
We’re always on the lookout for these changes, so keep checking in with us at DFB to see what we find next!
