First Look REVEALED For NEW Disney Restaurants Opening This Spring and Summer

If you’re a Disney fan, then there’s a good chance you’ve heard about the new restaurants coming soon to the Downtown Disney District in Disneyland.

Paseo, Centrico, and Tiendita are all coming soon to the District to serve up some Mexican Cuisine. Further, Din Tai Fung is a Michelin-awarded restaurant from Taiwan that’s also opening. Today, we got a brand new look at the eateries and believe us when we say that we absolutely cannot WAIT for them to open. Check it out!

Before we begin, we have to talk about the fact that Disney just announced that these restaurants will be opening IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS! Yep, get excited! Now, about that first look…

First up, just look at this gorgeous stairwell that will lead you to Paseo’s dining area.

It coordinates perfectly with Centro’s dining area and bar.

Disney said, “Chef Gaytán’s connection to his homeland comes to life as he pairs his love of Mexico with French culinary style and technique. Standout Paseo menu items will include colorful ceviches, Mama’s cochinita pibil (roasted marinated pork), lamb barbacoa and the mejillones (mussels).”

We can’t forget about Centrico’s food! Disney said, “Céntrico’s featured dishes will include quesabirrias, chicken enchiladas, tlayuda (a Oaxacan shareable dish reminiscent of a pizza with a perfect crunch) and one of Chef Gaytán’s favorites, Caesar salad.”

Further, we got a new look at Tiendita, where you can get Mexican cuisine to-go. “Through a self-ordering kiosk, menu options will include esquites (roasted corn), fish tacos, ice cream- stuffed chocolate tacos, and breakfast favorites like chorizo breakfast burritos and chilaquiles (marinated tortilla chips with egg). You may even see the expert culinary team at work, adding to the experience!”

Finally, we got a look at Din Tai Fung, which will open this summer in the district, bringing their signature soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao), wontons, noodles, steamed buns, bok choy, pork chop fried rice and other flavorful dishes served family style.

Disney ended the news with a teaser, stating, “We’re excited to let you in on more mouth-watering plans we have underway! Two new restaurant concepts – a steakhouse restaurant and an adjacent barbecue eatery – are in the works for the Downtown Disney District. These will be located on the footprint of the former Tortilla Jo’s. We look forward to sharing more, soon!” EEP. More new restaurants are coming, y’all!
