Disney Announces OPENING TIMELINE for NEW Din Tai Fung Restaurant

Disneyland’s Downtown Disney is in the process of a transformation of its own.

Downtown Disney is Disneyland’s shopping and dining district like Disney Springs is in Disney World. However, it’s getting a bit of a makeover. Some locations, including restaurants, have been closing to make room for new ones to appear. A new market with several new dining locations will be opening, and a world-renowned restaurant from Taiwan will be available. Now, Disney has given us a clue about when this new restaurant will be opening!

Din Tai Fung is a Michelin-awarded restaurant from Taiwan. It serves signature soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao), wontons, noodles, steamed buns, bok choy, pork chop fried rice, and many other flavorful meals in a family style. (Think BIG portions, so remember to bring friends and family with you!)

We’ve known that this restaurant was planning to come to Downtown Disney, but we had not heard WHEN we could start dining here. Now, Disney has announced that Din Tai Fung will be opening THIS SUMMER!

There are currently Din Tai Fung locations in Southern California, Oregon, Washington, and many international locations. Disney has previously shared a peek inside the new restaurant, and it looks like it will be gorgeous inside if the concept still remains the same.
