The Monorail is an iconic part of the parks. Walt Disney had a passion for trains, and the monorail was one of his dreams for the parks.

To this day, the monorail is a key form of transportation around Disney World, and it definitely has its own fan club. You can even find monorail merchandise!

While the merch is cool and all, we may have found one of our favorite monorail-inspired things! We found this at the Walt Disney Imagineering building in California, and we knew we NEEDED to share it with all of you!

The monorail hallway!

It is a MONORAIL HALLWAY! How cool is that? It gives you the feeling that you are riding a monorail as you walk down the hallway. You pass by different parks, attractions, and characters as you make your way down.

Hi Duffy!

You never know where you might be heading next or who you might see! There are so many details to discover on the journey. We spotted Duffy, Winnie the Pooh, Main Street U.S.A, EPCOT and the Norway pavilion, Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, and so much more. 

Traveling by EPCOT and the Norway Pavilion

Not only do you pass by lots of iconic characters, locations, and attractions, but the hallway even simulated tunnels by going dark. Everything in the hallway went dark, but then came to life again after we made it through the tunnel.

We even spotted Winnie the Pooh.

We loved all the bright colors and getting to spot characters throughout the scenery! Oh look, there is Snow White too!

And of course, Walt is right up at the front of the monorail! We loved getting to ride along with Walt and we think he was a fantastic monorail pilot!

Walt is the best monorail pilot.

There is even an operations panel at the front! You can adjust the switches, so they are just the way you want. We thought this hallway was AMAZING! We would love heading into work via a monorail hallway.

They even have an operations panel for the monorail.

We probably could have stood watching this hallway all day, but we also got a chance to explore so much more during the Walt Disney Imagineering Event. We are definitely adding a monorail hallway to our list of things we will build once we win the lottery!
