It’s hard to keep up with Disney World food because new food seems to arrive in restaurants every day.

However, we try to keep on top of ALL the new meals and snacks, so we can keep you updated on what you should eat when you’re visiting Disney World. We just finished a round of seasonal spring treats, but we recently spotted a new appetizer we needed to try at a Disney World hotel.

Okay, we lied. We don’t need an excuse to visit Steakhouse 71 and the Steakhouse 71 Lounge at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. We’ll go there EVERY chance we get. But we recently decided to have a sit down inside the lounge and discovered that there are some brand new wings to try: Honey Chipotle Barbecue Wings for $14.  Sweet and spicy, right? Okay, we’re in.

These wings are nice and sticky with sweetness, but we gotta’ warn you, they are VERY spicy, so you get a kind of Nashville hot honey situation with them. That heat also lingers after each bite. Like, the first bite is like “ooh…sweet…” and then suddenly, you’re desperately searching for a glass of milk.

However, it was rinse and repeat, because we LOVED these wings, despite that heat. But if you are not a fan of spicy things, you probably won’t appreciate that heat like we do. So there’s your warning. Also, the wings are served with Celery and Carrots, just in case you want to make sure you get your veggies.
