REVIEW: This Is DEFINITELY One of Our New FAVORITE Treats in EPCOT. Yes, Really!

Every so often, Disney releases treats that are so Earth-shatteringly good that we have to tell you about them ASAP!

Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie

When we saw a NEW version of one of our favorite Disney World treats in EPCOT quietly made its theme park debut, it was all we could think about until we got our hands on it! Finally — the time has come. Let’s go eat a SWEET treat.

While browsing the menus around some of our favorite treat stops, we noticed a little something EXTRA special. It was something we hadn’t seen before, so we knew we instantly had to run out to try it! So, we set out to Karamell-Küche to pick it up! You’ve seen us grab so many tasty caramel treats here before, but even after indulging in TONS of sweet treats in the parks, we’re not sure ANYTHING could have prepared us for this.

The Wether’s Original Caramel Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie is brand-new to the menu and cost us $7.29. It’s made of carrot cake whoopie pie sandwiched with Werther’s Original Caramel and Salted Caramel buttercream frosting.

OH.MY.GOSH! This has to be the BEST version of this sandwich, HANDS DOWN!!! The center salted caramel frosting mixed against the savory yet sweet taste of the carrot cake sandwich tricks your brain into thinking it’s cream cheese. So much so that we had to double-check the menu listing to confirm that it actually wasn’t cream cheese.

An inside look

The salted caramel is plentiful here, which was our only gripe with the older chocolate whoopie pie. You can actually see and bite into pieces of carrot, which are fresh and sweet, leaving you feeling so satisfied. This carrot cake whoopie pie is not made to be manhandled, though! It’s so soft that when picked up and held for a bit, it will fall apart pretty easily.

Run, don’t walk for this one!

Overall, this was a fantastic new addition to the menu at one of our favorite stops for a snack while in EPCOT, so be sure to give this one a try on your next visit.
