This summer could be a very busy time for Disney World.
A brand-new ride, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, will be opening in Magic Kingdom. Another Magic Kingdom attraction, Country Bear Jamboree, will be reopening with a whole new show. The EPCOT transformation will officially be finished. An Encanto show is coming to EPCOT. That’s just a FEW of the things this summer will bring to the parks. However, there’s something else you need to be aware of if you’re visiting Disney World in June.
We often check the Disney World calendar to find out if there are any private events going on in the parks or funky park hours. Well, we just recently discovered that on June 5th, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be closing early, at 5:30PM.
So why is this happening? Well, it’s usually because of a special event for Cast Members or a private event of some kind. We did a little digging and discovered that the SAP Sapphire & ASUG Annual Conference Orlando will be hosting a special event in Hollywood Studios that evening.
So, if you’re planning on visiting Hollywood Studios on that day, you may want to rearrange your plans and avoid that park since it will be closing EXTRA early. Of course, if you have the Park Hopping option added to your Disney World tickets, you can just go to another park. You’ll also want to keep in mind that you may not want to park hop to Hollywood Studios from another park later that day. If you go to Disney’s Hollywood Studios at all on June 5th, we recommend spending your evening in another park.
This is why we always recommend checking the Disney World calendars before your trip. You can do that on the Disney World website or the My Disney Experience app.

We’ll also try and keep an eye out for early closings like this, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
