Disney Cruise Line just shocked EVERYONE when it announced plans to introduce a NEW ship called the Disney Destiny to the fleet. Even after all of the exciting offerings teased for the new heroes and villain-themed ship, we have questions!

We know that the Disney Treasure is set to unveil a first-of-its-kind Haunted Mansion lounge onboard when it sets sail in the near future (along with some haunting souvenirs to go along with it). But could it truly just be a one-and-done location, or could we see it on the Disney Destiny, too?
Disney’s newest announcement about the Disney Destiny left us with a LOT of questions. The Disney Destiny is officially joining the fleet soon (2025, to be exact!), and best of all, it will have a heroes and villains theme!

The Disney Destiny!
While there’s still a lot left to learn about this ship, there are a few hints we picked up from Disney’s announcement. First, watch this cute little teaser trailer. Then, we’ll talk CLUES.
Did you catch that? Something caught our attention! It was a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, but if you look closely, you may notice some interesting designs featured on the doors of the ship. Check out the door on the far left — that looks a lot like a Haunted Mansion icon, right?

Could this be a hint that we could see MORE Haunted Mansion elements on another Disney Cruise Line ship? We certainly hope so! So far, we know that a Haunted Mansion lounge is coming to the Disney Treasure and will be filled to the brim with callbacks to the classic attraction…

and a few of the more prominent ghost occupants (with a few new haunting faces to learn about).

It would be nice to see a popular Disney attraction that has a huge fan following offer a SECOND location. We’ve seen Disney repeat restaurants, shows, and other experiences on its ships before, so it’s not totally unrealistic to think this lounge may be duplicated for the Disney Destiny.

A Haunted Mansion lounge is coming soon!
We’ll be covering all of the announcements coming about the latest Disney Cruise Line ship to join the fleet so be sure to stay tuned with us for all the latest Disney Destiny news, updates, and more!
