Harry Potter Fans! You NEED To Go to Universal Orlando Before April 30th

Universal Orlando just announced a NEW limited-time event, and it’s one that fans of Harry Potter won’t want to miss.

Both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood are celebrating BUTTERBEER SEASON this spring! What exactly IS Butterbeer Season, you might ask? Let’s get into it.

Universal said that Butterbeer Season offers guests “a chance to enjoy Butterbeer in all-new ways within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.” The celebration begins March 15th and only lasts through April 30th, so you’ll have to hurry and plan your trip soon!

In case you’re not familiar with Butterbeer, this is a drink that’s featured in the Harry Potter books, and it’s been offered in Universal’s Harry Potter-themed parks for a while now. You can get it hot, cold, or frozen, and there are also Butterbeer-flavored treats like fudge and ice cream.

During Butterbeer Season, Universal will introduce some NEW Butterbeer treats, like “an ice lolly which features the rich palate-pleasing Butterbeer flavor in popsicle form” and Butterbeer caramels. Also, you’ll be able to get cold or frozen Butterbeer in a “special collectible silver stein.”

Butterbeer Season will be celebrated at both Hogsmeade (at Islands of Adventure) and Diagon Alley (at Universal Studios Florida) in Orlando.

But that’s not all the exciting snack news from Universal! It’s been announced that a NEW location of the fan-favorite ice cream shop Florean Fortescue’s will open at Universal Studios Hollywood. This new spot will open on March 29th in Honeydukes with ten soft serve flavors: Butterbeer, Banana, Chocolate, Mint, Orange, Vanilla, Toffee Nut, Granny Smith Apple, Pistachio, and Toffee Apple, served in a cup or waffle cone.
