SNEAK PEEK at Disney Cruise Line’s New Island Destination

With several ships and destinations to choose from, there are plenty of vacation options with Disney Cruise Line. And later this year, the cruise line will be EXPANDING with both a brand-new ship and a brand-new island destination!

We’ve previously shared details about Disney’s new island destination, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, which is set to open this summer. However, we’ve now got our first official look at the space — Disney shared some construction photos!

The first photo shows the Mabrika Cove Cabanas, which will be available as spaces for families to relax and play on the beach. These will be one of the first things you see when you arrive at the island.

When you’re hungry, you’ll be able to dine at True-True Too BBQ, a seashell-inspired restaurant with shaded pavilion seating. The space will include nature-inspired artwork as well. It’s really coming along!

Disney shared a look at one of the tram stops as well. This space will soon be decked out in colorful decor inspired by the warmth of Bahamian art and culture. Here, you’ll find spots for hair braiding, merchandise, and more.

This island destination will be home to multiple beach areas, a Bahamian arts and culture center, interactive water play areas, a kids’ club, and more. It’ll be one of the stops on select Bahamian itineraries starting this summer.
