Another day, another Disney World change.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
No matter when you visit the parks, there’s a pretty good chance that they’ll be at least a little bit different than the last time you were there. But, that usually means Disney is working on the latest and greatest new attraction or experience to bring to folks. Whether it’s a big change or small, we’re on the lookout for it — and we may have just found one in Animal Kingdom!
A new permit has been filed for work over at two rides in Animal Kingdom! In Pandora: World of Avatar, Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey actually share a show building — and that’s where this work is taking place.
Flight of Passage
The address listed on the permit matches up with this show building, but the permit doesn’t get much more specific than that. The description reads, “Provide labor, material, and/or electrical for construction,” which most likely means more work could be on the way here soon.
Unfortunately, what that work might be is anyone’s guess for now. We’re also unable to tell if the work will be for a specific ride, as the two here share one address.
The Na’vi River looks pretty tranquil!
The good news is that neither ride is showing as being temporarily closed or having limited hours for the foreseeable future from what we can tell, so chances are if the work is starting soon it won’t impact the ride. Either way, we’ll keep an eye out for any potential updates that might clue us into what work is actually going on here.
