We may be in the midst of the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, but that doesn’t mean Disney isn’t already preparing for the next EPCOT event!
The 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival kicks off on February 28th and runs through May 27th, bringing incredible topiaries, exciting eats, and of course — exclusive souvenirs to the park. But, this year’s festival will also include something new that has taken Disney World by storm and we’re bringing you a sneak peek!
In case you haven’t been introduced just yet — meet Lug Bags! These babies have taken Disney World by storm and are flying off the shelves. The Figment-themed Festival of the Arts bag sold out quickly and we’ve seen the Winnie the Pooh collection suffer a similar fate.
But, Disney just shared another sneak peek of the Lug Bag coming to the 2024 Flower & Garden Festival, and it features a Disney park icon — Orange Bird! We first caught a glimpse of this bag back at Destination D23 in 2023, but now we’ve got another look!
The bag features multiple different pockets and compartments along with a long, crossbody, adjustable strap. We love the interior orange pattern featured here!
The strap is detachable and the back features loops you can pull the strap through to turn it into a belt bag! Of course, the back also includes an embroidered leaf and the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival logo.
We don’t know about you, but we’ll be lining up to see this baby in person — and we expect quite a few folks will be too.
If history is any indication, we know that Orange Bird merchandise tends to be pretty darn popular alone! Last year’s Orange Bird Loungefly backpack and ears sold out and restocked multiple times — that, combined with the popularity of Lug Bags makes us think this bag will likely sell out.
More often than not, EPCOT festival merchandise can be found at the Creations Shop and various kiosks around the park, so keep that in mind!
Stay tuned to DFB as we bring you even more news about Lug Bags and the 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival!
