We hope you have a sweet tooth — new desserts have made their way to Disneyland!

The Disneyland Resort is home to some FANTASTIC eats and now there’s yet ANOTHER addition! B Sweet Dessert Bar, a Los Angeles-based, Filipino-owned dessert bar that specializes in all kinds of treats (including Disney-themed ones) is NOW selling its goodies at the Happiest Place on Earth! We even stopped by and tried some of the desserts!

The new B Sweets location can be found at Downtown Disney inside Earl of Sandwich beginning this week. To celebrate its arrival in Orange County, the B Sweets team will host a meet-and-eat at Earl of Sandwich on Saturday, January 20th!

Some B Sweet offerings include Birthday Cake, Ube Love Cake, Pineapple Whip Cheesecake, and more, depending on the day.

We are HUGE fans of the Pineapple Whip Cheesecake (which tastes just like Disney Dole Whip!) so we were SUPER EXCITED to try some of Chef Barb’s latest Downtown Disney offerings! How were they? Let’s take a look!

We tried three different cakes — Ube Love Cake, Strawberry Shortcake Cheesecake, and Celebration Cake. The cakes were listed at a pretty decent value at $8.99 each.

Ube Love Cake

The Ube Love Cake was probably our favorite cake that we tried. Its taste was akin to a vanilla cake and was fairly moist with a light frosting.

We also appreciated how fluffy the texture was! Ultimately, we found this to be a pretty solid cake. 

The Strawberry Shortcake Cheesecake had a strong strawberry flavor that tasted a bit artificial and not as natural as we would have liked.

Still, if you’re a strawberry fan, we recommend trying it for yourself as you may like the flavor more than we did.

As for the cheesecake, it had a very soft texture and was almost like yogurt. It didn’t help or harm our experience with the cake but it was something we noticed. We recommend eating this one as soon as possible and giving it a try especially if you like softer cheesecakes.

Unfortunately, our Celebration Cake wasn’t as moist as the Ube Love Cake, but it was very sweet!

We weren’t the biggest fans of how sweet the frosting was, but if you like sugary desserts packed with sweetness, you should definitely give this cake a try!

There were aspects about each cake we liked and didn’t like, and we truly think these desserts will please some more than others. Regardless, we think you should make your way down to Downtown Disney and try them yourself!
