2 Scavenger Hunts Will RETURN to the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival

We got A LOT of information about the 2024 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival!

We’re in the midst of the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, but Disney is pouring out the information for their next big festival. There were tons of new details just announced, so we’re breaking it all down for you and giving you the scoop on TWO scavenger hunts you’ll be able to participate in!

First of all, the Flower and Garden Festival wouldn’t be much of a flower and garden event if we didn’t have any flowers or greenery. This year, Disney has announced several NEW larger-than-life topiaries — including Mr. Groot!

There will be a total of 70(!!) topiaries that you can wander around and look at and those will include 6 new ones! You’ll be able to spot Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy near Guardians of the Galaxy: Comic Rewind, Asha, Valentino and the Wishing Star from Wish near the park’s main entrance, and Miguel and Dante from Coco in the Mexico Pavilion.

Next, we found out that five new musical groups will be joining the Garden Rocks concert series! You can jam to the music with priority seating by purchasing a Dining Package at one of the following EPCOT restaurants:

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
Biergarten Restaurant
Coral Reef Restaurant
Garden Grill Restaurant
Rose & Crown Dining Room
Le Cellier Steakhouse
Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Brews & Barbecue (same-day, in-person walk-up packages only)

2023 Garden Rocks Concert

You can begin booking one of these packages on February 6th on the Disney World website or app!

Then, Disney gave a sneak peek at the returning food booths coming to the festival! You know we try out every single booth at the EPCOT festival, but these three might have to be priorities! The Honey Bee-stro, Magnolia Terrace, and Northern Bloom are making a comeback with some favorite dishes.

It isn’t an EPCOT festival if there aren’t some adorable souvenirs to go with it! This year, Orange Bird is making a reappearance on a new Loungefly and more, spreading sunshine on everything.

And finally — two seasonal scavenger hunts will be underway throughout the festival! Spike the Bee will be taking you on an adventure around the gardens with Spike’s Pollination Exploration. And for a limited time, you can hop like a bunny through the World Showcase for the Egg-stravaganza Hunt. There will be twelve beautiful eggs around the park for you to find.

You can purchase maps for both scavenger hunts and then redeem them for a prize (whether or not you find all the items) at Disney Traders, Creations Shop, or World Traveler at International Gateway. We’ll be on the lookout for the surprise!

Also returning is the beautiful Butterfly Landing by AdventHealth. You can experience the life cycle of the butterflies in the walkthrough butterfly house! It really is a wonderful experience.
