We’ve seen lots of celebrities in Disney World over the years, including this year, so we’d do a quick recap of the most surprising celebrities we’ve seen in Disney World in 2023!
Kevin Smith
Just a few days ago, we spotted Kevin Smith in Disney’s Contemporary Resort!
It’s Kevin Smith!
Kevin Smith is an American director, writer, actor, and more who is most known for writing, directing, producing, and acting in the 1994 buddy comedy film Clerks.
Chrissy Metz & Julianne Hough
We spotted both Chrissy Metz (best known for her work on This Is Us) and Julianne Hough, a gifted actor, singer, and dancer (you may have seen her in Footloose, Rock of Ages, or Dancing With The Stars).

Both of these talented ladies were in Disney World filming the Disney Christmas special, which we can’t wait to see.

We’re always excited to see filming in Disney World, but we understand that it’s important to not get in the way and interrupt filming, and encourage you to do the same!
Kevin Jonas
One of the biggest celebrities we spotted in Disney World this year was none other than Kevin Jonas from the Jonas Brothers!

This sighting happened back in May and specifically took place in Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Magic Kingdom. Hey — we love those chicken strips too!
Serena Williams
Serena Williams (yes, the tennis extraordinaire!) also visited Disney World with her family this year!

It was so great to see photos of her and her family having so much fun in the parks, just like we do!

If you see a celebrity in Disney, what should you do? Well, it’s ultimately up to you, but it’s important to recognize the scene around them. Are they trying to avoid attention from others or just trying to spend time with their family? If so, it may be best to leave them to their day and not interrupt. But if you really would love to interact, then politely asking for a photo quietly may be your best move, but remember that they always reserve the right to say no! At the end of the day, they’re people just like us.
