This might be the Disney Food Blog, but believe it or not — we also have an appetite while we’re not at Disney World.
Ba Da Ba Ba Bah…
Yep, shocker. While we wish we could only eat Disney World food for the rest of our lives (actually, that doesn’t sound very nutritious but you get the sentiment), we do love to grub outside of the parks as well. Of course, when we’re outside of the parks, the McDonald’s drive-thru calls our name. Just for the nostalgia, we sometimes find ourselves grabbing Happy Meals. Okay, okay. We do still love getting the toys. That’s a big part of it. Speaking of which… There will be NEW toys at McDonald’s soon, and they’re kind of a BIG deal.
According to PR Newswire, Squishmallows will officially be at McDonald’s starting December 26th! Yep, when you order a Happy Meal, you’ll receive a Squishmallow in your little red and yellow box.

So… why is this such a big deal? Well, we knew that Squishmallows were coming to Happy Meals based on an announcement earlier this year, but then the toys only debuted in Canada, and our hearts broke a little. Um, also — it’s a big deal because Squishmallows are iconic, hello?

Now, though, we can sleep peacefully knowing that these cute, squishy little friends will be in the states on the 26th. In just a few days! There’s nothing like a post-Christmas outing to McDonald’s, right? EEP!
