Blizzard Beach
Over the weekend, Florida was hit with a powerful storm, which isn’t particularly common this time of year. Today, temperatures will reach the low 50s! Hopefully, you brought the proper rain gear and a way to stay warm, but if you packed a swimsuit intending to enjoy a water park this week, we have some bad news for you.
Today, December 18th, 2023 Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is closed due to the weather.
Summit Plummet
Occasionally, Disney will close its water parks temporarily if the weather isn’t ideal for drawing crowds. Currently, Disney doesn’t list any available times for this park until Thursday, December 21st, when it is set to open from 10AM to 5PM.

Keep in mind that these hours are subject to change depending on the weather. If you were hoping to stop by Blizzard Beach this week, keep an eye out for any changes!
Tike’s Peak in Blizzard Beach
If you do happen to visit Blizzard Beach before the end of the month, make sure to check out some of its festive offerings. The park celebrates the season with holiday fun, from a holiday-themed scavenger hunt to a tropical Santa meet-and-greet.
