STOP Shopping for Souvenirs in Disney World (Do THIS Instead!)

Will you be visiting Disney World for the holiday season?

It’s the holiday season!

It’s probably one of the most magical times of year to visit. You’ve got gorgeous holiday decorations to see, plus a LOT of amazing holiday snacks to try. There’s the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays PLUS Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party AND Jollywood Nights. But you’re probably also looking forward to doing some shopping, too, right? Well, we’re about to give you some solid advice when it comes to souvenirs.

So we get it — you want to buy all your souvenirs in Disney World WHILE you’re there because it’s fun to go shopping on vacation. Well, we’re going to tell you to NOT do that. In fact, if you see a souvenir you want online, you should probably buy it BEFORE your trip.

Holiday merchandise

Why? Well, buying it online when it’s available might save you some disappointment when you get to Disney World because there’s no guarantee that the item will be there when you get to the parks. We see a LOT of popular merchandise sell out quickly in the parks, particularly things like ears and Loungefly bags, as well as seasonal merchandise. So we do not recommend waiting to buy it in the parks.

Stuff sells out fast in the parks

There’s another reason to get souvenirs online, too. If you wait to buy stuff in the parks, it’s almost certain that you will pay full price for everything. However, you can get in on sales online and spend less on the same items. In the end, you can save money, which gives you MORE to spend during your trip (perhaps on food? 😁).
