One of the BEST Eats Is HIDING at the Disney Festival of Holidays

The Festival of Holidays is in full swing at Disneyland Resort!

Viva Navidad!

The festival has returned to Disney California Adventure with lots of holiday excitement, including a wide variety of food booths to visit. We stopped by to try out a LOT of eats, including some offerings that you won’t find at a food booth. Let’s head to Smokejumpers Grill to find one of our snacks!

At Smokejumpers Grill, you’ll find the Kielbasa with Pierogi for $8.99 as part of the festival offerings. It’s kielbasa served with potato and cheese pierogis, sauteed peppers and onions, and a dijon sour cream.

We’re ready to try it out!

The outside of the pierogi had a pastry-like texture. The crust was crunchy, but the inside was soft and warm — filled with cheesy mashed potatoes that we really enjoyed.

However, the kielbasa was our favorite part! It was a really flavorful sausage with a decent amount of spice. The sauteed peppers and onions added a nice sweet, caramelized flavor that helped pull everything together.

All of those elements combined made this one of our top items at this year’s festival! Seriously — this proves that just because an item is at a quick service spot instead of a food both, doesn’t mean you should overlook it.
