The leaves are changing, the weather is cooling down, and we’re all gearing up for a busy holiday season at Disney World.

Disney Springs
While we’re eagerly awaiting after-hours holiday parties, changes to popular classic attractions, and new restaurants, it’s easy to forget the Thanksgiving season that’s quickly approaching. But if you’re looking to savor the flavors of the season without the full bellies afterward, we’ve found a new way to help you get your Thanksgiving fix!
If you’ve ever had a craving for something sweet while strolling the streets of Disney Springs, chances are you’ve breezed by Salt & Straw before. While their menu boasts a few common flavors, they’re most notable for some of their more interesting concoctions (anyone remember that Chocolate Potato Salad flavor that we recently tried?).

Salt & Straw
Salt & Straw recently took to Instagram to announce new savory to sweet flavors coming this fall season. They’re introducing 2 new flavors and 3 returning seasonal favorites that will help amplify your Thanksgiving feast and they’re really inventive! Put together, the new lineup hopes to invoke a full five-course “meal” in frozen form.

The new flavors to watch for start with Parker House Rolls w/ Salted Buttercream. It’s described as a “salty, super buttery based ice cream” that reveals chunks of Parker House Rolls as you dig through bites.

Then it’s time to move on to Cheesy Potato Casserole. The next of the side dishes for Thanksgiving, this cheesy, potato casserole is built out in ice cream form as a potato-based cheesecake that’s rolled with cornflakes for added texture. It’s described as “super funky” and “one of the saltiest on the menu.”

Now we’re moving on to a sweeter option with Turkey Stuffing & Cranberry Sauce. This one is made of a salt and pepper ice cream base that’s built to kick up the intensity of the spiciness in this one and swirled with bright cranberry sauce. If you’re wondering just where they put the main course, the turkey is cooked into the stuffing bread pudding that you’ll find as you dig around into the ice cream further.

Mom’s Mango Pie is next up on the list to start off the 2 different dessert options! This is made in partnership with Hirshkesh Hirway — the musician and podcaster — who helped develop this flavor to mimic his mom’s Thanksgiving mango pie. This one is described as having a mango base paired with a super thick cooked-down milk called “mawa” to add texture to the pie-flavored ice cream, followed by a graham cracker crust finished off with a mango curd mix.

And lastly, there’s Pumpkin & Gingersnap Pie! This is their vegan offering for the desserts. It’s made to evoke that classic pumpkin pie dessert straight from the table. The flavor is a mixture of baked down pumpkin mixed with coconut cream paired against the “intense” gingersnap crust. The big surprise here is that Salt & Straw makes their own nuanced pumpkin spice blend that will have a more vibrant flavor to bring to your tastebuds.

From the way Salt & Straw’s head ice cream maker described these flavors, we’re already drooling at the thought of getting our hands on them. If you’re going to be stopping by Disney Springs on your next Disney World visit, the new flavors will be dropping in shops and online for nationwide shipping soon and available through the Thanksgiving season.
All of these ice cream flavors are available now at Salt & Straw!
