We Impulse-Bought Magic Kingdom's NEW Holiday Snack and Have ZERO Regrets.

The holiday season has invaded Disney World, and we don’t mind one bit.

It’s CHRISTMAS!

We’re already enjoying the festive decorations in the parks. Holiday merchandise is literally EVERYWHERE. We’re ready to try out ALL the holiday treats (which we’re waiting on, Disney!). Speaking of treats, a NEW one just arrived in Magic Kingdom.

We popped into Main Street Confectionery for a bit recently just to watch the candy artists (that’s what we’re calling them now) do their thing as they make delicious treats for visitors. While we were enjoying the smell inside the candy shop (you know that smell, right?), we noticed something new!

You know the station towards the back of the shop that has the popcorn, right? This is where you can get a bag of delicious popcorn or make your own custom popcorn mix. Well, a new popcorn flavor has entered the chat — it’s red and green, so, yes, HOLIDAY POPCORN IS HERE!

According to a Cast Member, this is peppermint-flavored popcorn, though really, it just tastes like sugary popcorn with a cool aftertaste. It doesn’t have that minty mouthwash flavor at all (which is a BIG relief!). If you’re looking for a simple, festive treat, look no further. Seriously — this was sweet, a little salty, and had a hint of peppermint that didn’t overpower the popcorn. You can get it for $9.99.

While you’re at it, be sure to take a moment to appreciate the holiday decorations in the shop — they’re themed with old-fashioned ornaments and classic candies.
