Disney Shared a NEW Look at Its EPCOT Fireworks Show, Luminous: The Symphony of Us

Disney has been going ALL OUT for its 100th Anniversary Celebration.

Can you blame the company, though? 100 years is a very big deal! We’ve seen a lot of the celebration happen over in Disneyland, but the celebration recently made its way to EPCOT, too. We’ll also soon get a new 100th Anniversary nighttime show in EPCOT, Luminous: The Symphony of Us.

Luminous will debut on December 5th, 2023, so it will be coming up soon. Disney has stated the show is meant to “reflect the commonality in all of us” by inviting “everyone to gather around World Showcase Lagoon for a show that will unite us through commonalities of the heart in a dazzling display of fireworks, lasers, music and light.” We’ve also seen some concept art for the show.

Well, thanks to its new page on the Disney World website, we’ve got a little more information about the show. The website states, “Delight in a dramatic show designed to bring us all together. Marvel at a dazzling pageant of fireworks, fountains, music and lights set to an original composition. New music, along with evocative selections from the Disney songbook, come together to remind us that we are more alike than we are different.”

We’ve seen some new structures in World Showcase Lagoon recently, presumably in preparation for the show, but that’s all we know about it right now. We’ll be keeping an eye out for even MORE information about Luminous, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
