If you haven’t been to Disney Springs in a while, you might be SHOCKED by all the recent changes. There’s a new restaurant coming soon, a few store closures, and even some shop relocations! There’s a lot to keep up with, so we’re here to share all the major updates with you. You’re welcome!

Disney Springs

Speaking of changes, during a recent visit to Disney Springs, we saw a BUNCH of new things happening around the area. Come with us to see what’s new!

A NEW restaurant, Summer House on the Lake, is coming to Disney Springs in late 2023! We’ve been watching this restaurant come to life for months now, but it’s finally one step closer to opening. Check it out — the sign, complete with the full name, is officially up!

Summer House on the Lake is getting closer to opening!

We still don’t know exactly what will be on the menu at this new spot, but Summer House has other locations in Chicago and North Bethesda, Maryland. So far, all we have is this little sneak peek! Plus, we know that  pizza, sandwiches, salads, pasta, wood-grilled dishes, and more are available at the other locations.

But that’s not all! Over next to one of our FAVORITE ice cream shops, Bowes Signature Candles is getting closer to opening, too. For a while, the shop was covered with construction walls (this location was formerly home to Sosa Family Cigars). But we spotted some big progress!

Ta-da! The walls are gone, and you can see the new Bowes Signature Candles sign front and center. Between the old cigar shop and the new candle store, this may be the SMELLIEST part of Disney Springs!

The doors have a sign that says, “Opening Fall 2023.” Hey, that’s soon! We can’t wait to check this place out. As you may recall, Bowes Signature Candles used to have a stand in the Marketplace Co-op store near World of Disney. Now it’s getting an entire store of its own.

How exciting!

A lot is happening in Disney Springs these days, and we can’t wait for the construction to go away so we can check out all the new shops and restaurants. In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more.
