How popular is this treat, exactly? Let’s take a journey in time, back to 1986 — the time before mobile orders. We find ourselves in Anaheim, CA, after a long day of escaping the Matterhorn’s Yeti and sailing past the perils of the Jungle Cruise in the hot sun. It’s time for a tasty frozen treat and the Tiki Juice Bar is calling your name. As you cross through Adventureland or Main Street U.S.A. you see a sign up ahead next to Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. Ah, there it is! The famous pineapple soft-serve Dole Whip!

You just can’t beat a classic.

But something is stopping you from getting this tasty tropical dessert. There’s a massive line feeding into Adventure that you can swear eventually wraps around to your hotel. Are people really that in love with this snack? YOU BETCHA!

Fast forward to today, and now you can find the Dole Whip and Dole Whip Float at The Tiki Juice Bar as well as several different flavors of whips and floats at The Tropical Hideaway at Disneyland. Meanwhile over in Florida at Disney World, the Dole Whip has become a cultural phenomenon. It feels like every time we blink Disney is releasing a new flavor or concoction. The demand will never fade and is here to stay. We’re just happy we can mobile order now without having to wait in line for what feels like years.

Want a classic pineapple Dole Whip? Done. Want a POWERADE Mountain Berry Blast Float? Easy. Maybe you want your Dole Whip to be boozed up. Yep, they can do that. Or maybe you want a Watermelon Dole Whip Taco. Odd request, but it’s been done!
