Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is a fan-favorite hotel, and rightfully so!
If you have never had the opportunity to stay at Art of Animation, you may not know what it has to offer or what you can do at the resort. Here, we are going to bring you 5 things you didn’t know you could do at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort!
Visit the Largest Hotel Pool in Disney World
Coming in at almost 310,000 gallons of fun, the Big Blue Pool, inspired by the Disney and Pixar film Finding Nemo, is sure to be a great time for guests of all ages.
Fun Fact: While underwater, you can hear Nemo and his friends talking to each other!
Order a WHOLE Pizza
That’s right! You can order an ENTIRE pizza at Landscape of Flavors to enjoy in the food court, take it back to your room, or enjoy by the pool. Don’t forget that you can use Mobile Order to skip the line at this food court.
After a long day in the parks, a pizza night sounds like the perfect recovery.
Stay in a Themed Family Suite
Art of Animation offers three different family suite themes: Finding Nemo, Cars, and The Lion King.
These suites can sleep up to 6 guests and offer 3 separate sleeping areas with a Queen Bed, a Double-Size Table bed, and a Double-Size Sleeper Sofa.
The theming in these suites is like nothing you have seen before! Be prepared to be fully immersed in the theme of the room. You’ll also have access to a kitchenette with a mini refrigerator, a sink, a coffeemaker, and a microwave.
View a GIANT Mr. Ray
Mr. Ray is a beloved character in Finding Nemo, and you can spot him near Animation Hall.
His wing span is a huge 27 feet! It’s definitely a great photo opportunity for all guests.
As you meander around the Art of Animation Resort, you will also encounter other popular giant-sized animated characters, as well, like Simba, Ursula, Lightning McQueen, and more.
Be sure to take some time to visit all the characters!
Bring Your Dog To Stay With You
You can bring your pampered pooch to stay with you at Art of Animation since this is a dog-friendly hotel.
There are some important pet policies to keep in mind when bringing your furry best friend to stay with you, but Art of Animation is just about as dog-friendly as it gets! In partnership with Best Friends Pet Care, there are special services provided (at an extra cost) for your pup while enjoying your time in the parks.
