ALERT! November 17th Is a BIG Day for 'Bluey' Fans!

Something tells us parents might just be as excited as their kids for this announcement!

A new Bluey adventure is coming out this fall, but there’s a twist — it’s being released in the form of a new video game! We’ve got all the details about this new game and what to expect.

Bluey is a critically acclaimed Australian children’s animated show that first premiered in October 2018. The show is loved by children and parents alike and can be found streaming stateside on Disney+. It follows Bluey, an energetic six-year-old Blue Heeler puppy who lives with her mother, father, and younger sister as she navigates family life and growing up and an imaginative way.

As for the game itself, Bluey: The Videogame releases on November 17th, 2023, on many different platforms — Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.

As of right now, the game can be added to a Wishlist on both the PlayStation Store and Steam Store.

Family-friendly game developer Outright Games partnered up with BBC Studios to create this immersive sandbox adventure that will take players into iconic and fully explorable locations from the show — including Bluey’s home, Playgrounds, Creek, and a special beach location! Speaking of players, this is a game the whole family can enjoy TOGETHER. Bluey: The Videogame is playable by up to four players, where participants can play as Bluey, her sister Bingo, mother Chilli, or father Bandit. The game will also feature voice talents from the actual show! Additionally, iconic music from the show’s soundtrack is slated to make an appearance as well as some new music created by the development team.

The experience boasts a lot of freedom, allowing players to play solo or co-op in story mode or free play. You’ll get to experience several minigames, including ones seen in the show such as “Keepy Uppy” and “Magic Xylophone.” Completing these activities will earn in-game rewards like new costumes, playable episodes, locations, and stickers. Set over the span of four interactive episodes, this game promises to be a good time for Bluey fans both young and old.

Bluey: The Videogame sounds like it could be another successful entry in the Bluey franchise and a nice addition to the family-friendly video game genre.
