One Disney World Hotel Perk Is About To Get BETTER

Let’s face it — staying at a Disney World hotel comes with a lot of great perks.

First, you’ve got easy transportation options to and from your hotel to the parks and Disney Springs. Next, you’ve got that whole Disney atmosphere thing going on at your hotel. There’s also Early Theme Park Entry for all hotels and Extended Evening Hours for deluxe hotels. Well, Extended Evening Hours are about to get a LOT better.

Extended Evening Hours allow guests in Disney World’s deluxe hotels to spend several hours in select theme parks on select evenings AFTER they close. That means fewer crowds, shorter lines, and the magic of being able to hang out in that park at night. Previously, we’ve only seen Extended Evening Hours for Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios. But that’s about to change!

Disney recently confirmed that Disney’s Animal Kingdom would soon have Extended Evening hours, too. That means Disney World deluxe hotel guests can have Animal Kingdom all to themselves from 7PM to 9PM on November 8th and 22nd, and December 4th and 28th

During that time, the following attractions will be open:

Yes, that means that you’ll get to enjoy Pandora at night (which is really quite spectacular), so make plans to spend some time there if you qualify for Extended Evening Hours!

So if you’ll be in Disney World during those times and are staying in a deluxe resort, be sure to take advantage of those extra hours in Animal Kingdom. You’ll also be able to enjoy Early Theme Park Entry, too, so you can maximize your time in the parks!
