We Have To WARN You About Disney's Newest Restaurant

Disney’s NEWEST restaurant is Tiana’s Palace, which officially opened on September 7th in Disneyland.

We’ve already been inside this restaurant to see how it’s different from the French Market Restaurant (which was previously in this space), try ALL the food, and check out the cool Easter eggs that nod to Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. But there’s one important thing we have to WARN you about!

When we stopped by Tiana’s Palace on its opening day, there was a LONG line of people waiting to try the new eats (and we can’t blame them — we loved just about everything we ate here!).

We stopped by again today and saw that there were still tons of people queueing up to go inside! The line stretched out the entrance of the restaurant…

Usually, this would be no problem, because we know a “secret” way to skip the line at most Disney counter service restaurants — just use Mobile Order!

You’ll order your food on the Disneyland app, select a return time, and then come back at that time, skipping the line to grab your food at the Mobile Order window.

However, this wasn’t an option when we visited on September 10th — ALL the Mobile Order windows were full!

It seems that Tiana’s Palace is quite the hit, and lots of people want to try this new spot. If you’re hoping to visit soon, make sure you get here early or place your Mobile Order ASAP.

It’s possible that the excitement will die down soon once the restaurant has been open for a while, but with delicious comfort food that’s not your typical theme park fare, we could see this spot being very popular for a long time.
