Another Store Suddenly Closes at Disney Springs

The last few months seem to have been full of CHANGES in Disney Springs.

The UGG store quietly closed its doors, the Sosa Family Cigars shop closed back in 2022, and the Melissa shoe store also closed. We also saw the Everything But Water store suddenly close, though a message on its website said that it is only closed temporarily. That has all been balanced, however, with the announcement of new stores, remodeled stores, and even NEW restaurants. But now we’ve got more Disney Springs news!

On August 21st, we spoke with a Cast Member working at Rustic Cuff who said that the 21st was the store’s LAST DAY. This store typically offers a ton of bracelets, bangles, cuffs, and other accessories.

From Its Last Day

Interestingly, Rustic Cuff had been in a few different locations in Disney Springs over the past few years. First, it was a pop-up kiosk. Then, it got a storefront that was replaced by Gideon’s Bakehouse. After that, it went back to a kiosk, and then Rustic Cuff got a brand new storefront! But in 2021 the store moved yet again. Now it seems the store may have closed.

When we returned to visit it on August 22nd, the store was in fact CLOSED.

It also had a sign on it indicating that “something new is coming soon” to the space. We have seen this on permanent store closures in the past, but we’ve also seen the sign utilized once when a store was merely undergoing a refurbishment, so it can depend.

Something New Is Coming

We spoke to a Cast Member in guest relations at Disney Springs who indicated that they were not aware of the closure until the 21st (the store’s reported last day of operation). They did bring up the fact, however, that there are quite a few storefronts open in Disney Springs so it’s possible that they could move into a new location.

The Rustic Cuff page does appear to have been removed or made temporarily unavailable from the Disney Springs website though.

And when we searched the Rustic Cuff website (for other stores), the Disney Springs location is NOT listed under the “Florida” spots.
