NEWS: 3 Disney+ Shows Are Coming Out on Blu-Ray for the First Time EVER

If you’re a fan of Disney+ original series, you can’t miss this BIG announcement!

Lots of new content is coming to Disney+ soon, including Loki season 2, the live-action The Little Mermaid, and the new Ahsoka series. But those aren’t the only streaming updates. Soon — for the first time EVER — you’ll be able to purchase some of your favorite Disney+ original series episodes on Blu-Ray and DVD.

Variety announced that three Disney+ original series are coming out on Blue-Ray and 4K UHD this year!

The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian, WandaVision, and Loki are going to be the first-ever Disney+ original series to get physical releases.

You can pre-order any of them on August 28th, and here’s a breakdown of when they’ll be released:

September 26th: the first season of Loki
November 28th: WandaVision
December 12th: the first two seasons of The Mandalorian

All of the shows will come with a Collector’s Edition 4K UHD and Blu-Ray disc “encased in luxe Steelbook packaging with collectible concept art cards and brand new box art designed by artist Attila Szzarka.”

The discs will also have special features that weren’t released on Disney+. For example, with Loki, you’ll get to see “Designing the TVA” with production designer Kasra Farahani and Tom Hiddleston, get a look at season 2, and watch the Miss Minutes TVA orientation video along with deleted scenes and a gag reel.
