Check Out the $100,000 Crystal CASTLE Being Built in Disney World

We’ve seen our share of EPIC Disney World souvenirs, including a lot of pricey items. We still haven’t seen the price tag for that Disney100 Vespa (and we probably don’t want to). Our minds are still blown by that Star Wars original art we recently spotted in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Some of our favorite pricey souvenirs, though, are probably those found in Crystal Arts by Arribas Bros. — and if you’ve visited that shop in Magic Kingdom, you’ll know some of those souvenirs cost some serious moolah. Well, there’s a NEW expensive work of art being created at Crystal Arts, and this time, it’s a CASTLE.

We recently visited Crystal Arts to see the crystal masters at work, and they were in the middle of creating a gorgeous crystal recreation of Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland Paris. As you can see, they’re making it BY HAND, which is why these pieces are considered such incredible works of art.

As we watched, we saw that several pieces of the new crystal piece were already constructed. We are so fascinated by how this kind of work is done. We could watch for hours. We also saw the little model they were using as a reference for what they were working on.

So here’s the thing. This beauty will not stay at Disney World once it’s completed. Instead, it’s being designed for the lobbies of one of the hotels at Disneyland Paris. However, if you really wanted it for yourself, you could special order it for…okay…this price tag certainly needs a drum roll…

It’s going to be beautiful

…$100,000! Yep, if you want this castle, it will cost a LOT. However, we do appreciate the beautiful work these artists put into their projcts, but as our wallets just cried out loud at that price tag, we’ll just watch the creation of this work of art from a distance. However, we do highly recommend popping into Crystal Arts to see how these pieces are created — you’ll often find them working on something in the shop.
