NEWS: Tickets for Disney’s ‘Hocus Pocus’-Themed Ball Go On Sale SOON

Halloween in Magic Kingdom

D23 is celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the beloved spooky film Hocus Pocus. As Disney’s official fan club, D23 is inviting its members to celebrate 30 years of spellbinding fun in Salem, Massachusetts, where the film is based.

On Saturday, October 7th, D23 members can join Disney in “Spell-ebrating” 30 years of Hocus Pocus at the Black Flame Ball! This event will start at 9AM with a walking tour through Salem, seeing the historic landmarks and icons of both Salem and Hocus Pocus.

At nightfall, the Black Flame Ball will officially begin. This soiree will be themed after the iconic Halloween party scene in the film, so guests are encouraged to arrive in their best, most colorful Halloween costumes. However, Disney warns that a few “bewitching guests” may or may not be planning to crash the ball!

We wonder who those guests might be…

If you choose to go, the event ticket includes an Event Credential, a walking tour of Salem, a commemorative event gift, and entry to the D23 Black Flame Ball, which includes light snacks and provisions, a open-bar for those 21+, and evening entertainment including a live band that will play Halloween hits.

D23 Members can reserve a ticket for themselves and up to two guests, and all must have a ticket in their possession upon entry. There are limited tickets available, too, so you might want to act fast in snagging these! Tickets will go on sale on Friday, August 18th at 10AM PT on the D23 website. Gold Member tickets are $229 plus a $7 processing fee, and General Member tickets are $279 plus a $7 processing fee.
