REVIEW: The 9PM Pick-Me-Up You'll Need at Magic Kingdom

You’ve been in Magic Kingdom all day, speed-walking between rides and trying your best to prevent any tantrums in your group. Now you’re at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which means a BUSY night filled with spooky activities. You’re hot and tired, but you don’t want to waste any time. What do you DO??

Luckily for you, there are plenty of caffeinated drinks throughout the park, at Joffrey’s and Starbucks. But if you’re looking for a unique treat to boost your energy, we just found the perfect thing!

You can now grab the Queen of Hearts Slushy over at the Cheshire Cafe in Fantasyland for $5.99. This is a frozen cherry slushy drizzled with black cherry purée and topped with whipped cream and a crown-shaped chocolate piece.

It’s available all day in Magic Kingdom, not just during the after-hours Halloween party.

If you love cherry, this is for you. It’s super cold and refreshing on a hot day, but you NEED to love cherry for this one. It’s certainly super photogenic, so be ready to pose!

The biggest thing we noticed, though, was the SUGAR RUSH that this drink provided. WOW. We were ready to take on the day after this one.

However, we don’t really think this treat tasted super special. The chocolate crown piece doesn’t taste all that great, and all the sugar could possibly give you a bit of a stomachache (which is NOT a good thing on any Disney day). If you want something a little more unique, or you want to avoid a major sugar rush, this one may be worth skipping.

If you just need a quick pick-me-up, though, it’ll definitely do the trick!
