Okay, so we know a lot of y’all have to get that morning cup of Starbucks.
We’re grabbing our favorite frappuccinos, lattes, and cold brew first thing at Disney World (don’t judge us), but for those of you who also like to get Starbucks at home, you’ll want to head to your local Target because getting coffee there just got a lot easier and more convenient.
We would like to introduce you to Target Drive Up with Starbucks, a new service that will soon be offered at Target stores across the U.S. You know how you can order Target curbside to pick up all your essentials? Well, you’ll soon be able to add your favorite Starbucks beverage to that order and pick that up curbside, too. Yep, you can just have Starbucks delivered to you IN YOUR CAR like other curbside orders at Target.
Here’s how it works: after you place a Drive Up order at a participating Target and get a notification that it’s ready, you just let the app know you’re on your way. Then you’ll get a prompt to place an order from Starbucks. You’ll make your selection and then click “Add for Drive Up” and pay for the order. Once you check in for your Drive Up order and it indicates “I’m on my way,” a Starbucks barista will prepare the order. You’ll park in the designated Drive Up parking area, hit “I’m here” on the app and a Target team member will bring out your Drive Up order AND your Starbucks.
So where can you get this service already? Well, it’s being rolled out to Target stores across the U.S., but it is currently being offered at select stores in the following states: California, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
So keep that in mind the next time you use Target’s Drive Up curbside pick-up option. You can get Starbucks with that! We’ll keep an eye out for more Starbucks and Target news, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
