Gideon’s Bakehouse

One of our favorite places to grab a treat and some coffee is Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs. This dark academia-inspired bake shop is a fan-favorite for a reason. What particularly draws people in are the giant, gooey, delicious cookies that are sold here, and every month, a new special cookie is highlighted on the menu and sold in the shop. This makes things a bit more exciting! Well, it’s officially August (How is 2023 flying by so fast?!) and another monthly cookie is up for grabs at the shop. Not only that, but Gideon’s also announced some important COFFEE NEWS. Let’s check it out!

First, it’s time for the big coffee news. You can now get a LARGE cold brew! Yep, you can increase your caffeine intake at Gideon’s to a whole 24 ounces. Previously, Gideon’s only offered 16-ounce cups, so this is pretty exciting.

We got the Orange Mocha Nitro Cold Brew in the new 24-ounce cup for $8. This is a super tasty coffee with a bright, orange-forward flavor. If you’re a fan of citrus, you’ll definitely want to try this one out! If not, you can get the Original Peanut Butter COld Brew, Classic White Cold Brew, Cookies & Cream Cold Brew, or Pumpkin Chai Cold Brew.

Alrighty, folks, give us a drumroll, please! …. The cookie of the month at Gideon’s Bakehouse is the Peanut Butter Cold Brew Cookie!

Peanut Butter Cold Brew Cookie

This is a peanut butter cookie “laced” with freshly-ground espresso and fully covered in chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Reese’s Pieces. You can grab these while supplies last each day throughout the month of August. There is a limit of two cookies per person.

We’ve actually tried this cookie before, and we remember it as a perfectly gooey, messy, delightful combination of peanut butter, chocolate, and coffee. We loved this cookie, and we HAD to grab it again.

You’ll also still be able to get the Key Lime Chocolate Chip Cookie until August 13th, which is part of Flavors from Florida event in Disney Springs. This one is no longer available for pre-order, though, and is only available in very limited quantities.
