There are some pretty amazing Disney hotel pools out there, but you might need to add another one to your list to visit soon.
Over at the Disneyland Resort, the Paradise Pier Hotel is in the process of transforming into the Pixar Place Hotel, complete with a new restaurant, updated lobby, and more. But now we’ve got an updated look (and opening date!) for one particular spot coming to this revamped hotel.
Disney had previously shared that a NEW Finding Nemo Splash Pad/water play area would be coming to the hotel and would be set to open in the summer of 2023. It will feature an 186-foot-long waterslide, a pop-jet splash pad, and a new water play area.
But now we’ve got another look at what to expect and just when you’ll get to enjoy it all.
Disney has announced that starting August 1st, 2023, overnight guests will be able to enjoy the Pixel Pool, take a ride on Crush’s Surfin’ Slide, and check out the pop-jet splash pad at Nemo’s Cove!
Here’s an updated look at that Crush slide — it looks like it could be quite the adventure for those who want to enjoy some fun in the water.
And here’s another look at the pop-jet splash pad, which will feature Hank — the septopus from Finding Dory.
Again, these offerings will be available starting August 1st for those who are overnight guests at the hotel. The entire transformation of the hotel, however, is not set to be completed until this winter.
The pool is just one area where you’ll see Pixar touches at this hotel. You’ll also want to look for Pixar characters inside the building in all kinds of spots…
…including on the walls…
…and in the family play court area coming to the hotel. This will have activities inspired by Pixar’s short films. Plus, Disney has teased a little snack spot where guests can enjoy food and drinks under the umbrellas from The Blue Umbrella.
Get a look at some of the updates coming to the hotel here.
We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more news about the Pixar Place Hotel transformation, so check back for the latest updates.
