NEW ADDITION Announced for the 2023 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival

Muppet fans, our day has come. While the rest of the world is out there enjoying their regular old day, we’re over here FREAKING OUT with excitement. Too strong? Nah. When you hear THIS news, you, too, will be leaping with joy.

The Muppets are coming to EPCOT!

As you may have heard, the 2023 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is coming SOON to Disney World. We just got a peek at the festival food booth menus, a merchandise preview, and even some exciting news about this year’s event, but now we’re back to share some BREAKING news.

Disney shared a fun little preview of a NEW experience coming to the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. Per Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker, guests can look out for the smartest pair of Muppets we know over by the Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey. There, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker will join the festival as the taste-testers in residence, where they will be taste-testing the flavors of tomorrow and today!

That’s right — Muppet Labs are coming to EPCOT! (Note that Disney clarified that they will only appear via video — it sounds like the Muppets will not actually be physically present at the booth.)

Get ready to experiment with tasty flavors at the Brew-Wing Lab at the Odyssey! Disney is calling the new Muppet Labs an experience with “flavorful adventure, featuring the culinary creations — and madcap mishaps — of Muppet Labs!” Look out for some interesting new snacks, like the Unnecessarily Spicy, Yet Extremely Tasty Scotch Bonnet Pepper-Curry Wings and the Pickle Milkshake. We’re intrigued!
