How do YOU usually get to Disney World?
Do you drive? Or do you fly? For most of us, flying might be the main option, but that doesn’t always mean it’s the easiest. Ultimately, you’ll have to deal with the possibility of flight delays and cancelations, and the odds of those happening can increase if you don’t have a direct flight to Orlando. But the good news is that many airlines continue to add non-stop flights to Orlando International Airport — and one airline just added ANOTHER.
Breeze Airways will soon begin to offer non-stop flights to Orlando International Airport from Portland, Maine. This service will begin on September 6th and be available twice per week. Orlando International Airport recently shared the news on social media.
The world is your lobster – book a flight to Maine! Kayak around the islands, take a bike ride down the coastline, watch the sailboats in Portland’s Harbor – live life! Beginning Sept. 6th, @BreezeAirways will offer nonstop 2x/week service to Portland!

Of course, once you get to the Orlando International Airport, you’ll also still need to know how to get to Disney World from there. Several options are available, including renting a car, using rideshare services, or booking a shared shuttle service like Mears Connect or Sunshine Flyer.
When you get to Disney World, you can use Disney World’s FREE transportation system to get around the resort, which includes buses, the Monorail, the Skyliner, and boats.
We’ll keep an eye out for more news about Orlando International Airport, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
