The holidays can feel even more magical when at one of the Disney Parks.

Disney is currently celebrating Halfway to the Holidays, and as part of the fun, they’ve given us hints at what we can expect in the parks for the 2023 holiday season. From the return of fan-favorite holiday parties, all-new runDisney races, and a first look at holiday-themed merchandise, Disney has shared TONS of information with us! While most of the announcements are regarding things taking place at Disney World, Disney has also confirmed a lot of things that will be returning to Disneyland. Let’s check them all out!

The holidays at Disneyland can be super magical — there’s so much to do! Disney is showing on the Disneyland website all of the things that will be available in the park starting this fall. So, grab some hot cocoa and a cozy sweater, because we’re headed into the holidays!

Disney Festival of the Holidays at Disney California Adventure

Disney has confirmed that Festival of the Holidays will RETURN, complete with entertainment, treats, and more!

This seasonal festival celebrates multicultural music, cuisine, and traditions — all with a holiday flare.

Disney ¡Viva Navidad!

As part of the Festival of the Holidays celebration, Disney confirmed that ¡Viva Navidad! will return.

This is a parade that celebrates the holiday traditions from Mexico and Brazil — brought to life by cultural performers!

Festival Feasting

No holiday celebration is complete without food! You’ll be able to grab treats and snacks from several locations around the park.

The best part? They’re all inspired by diverse cultures with varying holiday traditions.

World of Color — Season of Light

This nighttime spectacular happens throughout the holiday season at Disney California Adventure.

With lights, water effects, and more, you can see and hear Disney and holiday stories come to life.

Mater’s Jingle Jamboree

Who doesn’t love a good ol’ ride overlay? Mater’s Jingle Jamboree is a “holiday hoedown” version of Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree.

You’ll see lots of holiday decor while you’re square dancin’ with Mater!

Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl

Similar to Mater’s Jingle Jamboree is Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl!

This holiday-themed overlay is a transformation of Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters.

A Christmas Fantasy Parade

This musical parade allows you to see fan-favorite Disney characters riding by on holiday floats.

OH, and how could we forget? You’ll get to see Santa!

“it’s a small world” Holiday

This ride overlay features the dolls of “it’s a small world” dressed up in holiday garments from each of their respective cultures.

It’s just so much merrier!

Believe… In Holiday Magic Fireworks

This nighttime spectacular takes place over Sleeping Beauty Castle!

There will be fireworks, music, and even SNOW!

Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle

Each night, Sleeping Beauty Castle will transform into its magical wintertime version!

Disney says a “shimmering spectacle” will take place as the castle is transformed.

Haunted Mansion Holiday

This ride overlay is pretty spooky! Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion will transform into its holiday version — featuring a spooky yet festive Disney movie.

That’s right! Haunted Mansion will take on its festive Nightmare Before Christmas overlay.
