This Gideon's Bakehouse Cookie Was More Expensive than All the Others…But It's 100% WORTH IT

There’s ANOTHER new cookie at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs, and OK FINE you don’t have to twist our arms! We’ll go eat it!

It’s our job to eat all kinds of delicious things at Disney World, and we take that job very seriously because we want YOU to know which are worth the money and which you should actually SKIP. Days when we need to go try a new treat at Gideon’s Bakehouse are some of our favorite days on the job because we have rarely been let down by this unique bakery. Come along with us to try out the new Sea Turtle Cookie, which not only looks super tasty but also supports an excellent cause!

Gideon’s Bakehouse announced a new cookie flavor for the month of June: the Sea Turtle Cookie. It’s made with premium chocolate, homemade caramel, and whole candied pecans, sprinkled with Gideon’s signature sea salt. It’ll be available at the Disney Springs location every day in June while supplies last. There’s a limit of two cookies per person.

On Instagram, Gideon’s shared that “a portion of sales from this new flavor will support Florida’s Sea Turtle Conservancy, the world’s oldest sea turtle research and conservation group.” Because of the donations, this cookie is more expensive than the rest of the treats on the menu. Usually Gideon’s giant cookies are $6, but the Sea Turtle Cookie is $6.50.

We headed to the Springs to try out this new flavor and WOW. It’s full of powerful flavors and we loved them ALL!

If you’re a fan of salted caramel, you seriously do NOT want to miss this cookie. Gideon’s uses chunky sea salt, so you can really get that salty kick even with the super sweet caramel mixed in.

Even though the cookie dough itself is not chocolate, the chocolate chunks are big enough that the flavor is strong in every bite. Chocolate lovers will not be disappointed by this one (although if you’re seriously set on the chocolatiest cookie out there, go for the Triple Chocolate Cookie here instead!).

Like all of Gideon’s cookies, this one is big and dense. It’s hard to eat more than a few bites at a time, despite the fact that it’s so delicious. We recommend bringing a Ziploc baggie along so you can save it and snack as you walk through the Springs!

You can get the Sea Turtle Cookie now for $6.50.

It looks like there’s also a new Sea Turtle cake flavor. Although Gideon’s didn’t include this cake in their announcement today, it’s listed on the cake slice schedule for this month on Wednesdays and Sundays. Also, note that the Rainbow Crunch cake will be available EVERY DAY this month as Gideon’s Bakehouse celebrates Pride Month!
