We’ve all been there — you’re in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and you are just VERY overwhelmed.

Hot, sweaty, and stressed while trying to navigate the park? We experience that almost every day. Been waiting in line for hours at Rise of the Resistance? We bet those feet hurt. That’s why we’re here to share some good (and some not so good) news about Hollywood Studios!

We’ll start with the good news — even though it is Memorial Day weekend, Rise of the Resistance has stayed at a pretty manageable average wait time. This is not guaranteed, but hopefully the popular Star Wars ride will not have multi-hour waits if you are visiting soon. On the other hand, Tower of Terror saw a pretty big increase in wait times over the last week increasing by 31%.

Take a look at that drop and the rest of the average Disney World wait times below.

Magic Kingdom

Starting in Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time of 69 minutes. Last week the average wait time was 61 minutes, so the time has actually changed to increase this week.

Next, Peter Pan’s Flight averaged 60 minutes, Jungle Cruise averaged 40 minutes, and Space Mountain averaged 45 minutes. After that, average wait times had Haunted Mansion at 34 minutes, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 30 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 29 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 28 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 27 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 25 minutes, and Enchanted Tales with Belle averaged 24 minutes.

After that, “it’s a small world” averaged 17 minutes, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid and Magic Carpets of Aladdin averaged 15 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway and Mickey’s PhilharMagic averaged 13 minutes, The Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini averaged 12 minutes, and Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover averaged 10 minutes.

Next, Dumbo the Flying Elephant averaged 11 minutes, and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel and Mad Tea Party averaged 8 minutes. The Enchanted Tiki Room, Carousel of Progress, the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, and the Liberty Square Riverboat all averaged 5 minutes. 

The Hall of Presidents, Country Bear Jamboree, and Tom Sawyer Island averaged no wait.

Why You Should AVOID Magic Kingdom on These 2023 Dates

EPCOT

Heading over to EPCOT, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure had an average wait time of 56 minutes — this is an increase compared to last week’s average of 52 minutes. Frozen Ever After’s wait time also increased to 58 minutes — that makes these the highest average wait times in the park.

Next up is Test Track at 51 minutes, Soarin’ at 25 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush at 16 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 14 minutes, and Journey into Imagination at 12 minutes.

Then, there is Spaceship Earth at 10 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 9 minutes, and Living with the Land, and Gran Fiesta Tour at 7 minutes.

Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China had no wait times this week.

Hollywood Studios

Over in Hollywood Studios, Rise of the Resistance’s wait time dipped to 61 minutes this week (compared to 63 minutes last week). Slinky Dog Dash was the highest wait time in the park with a 64-minute average.

Other wait times in the park include Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 45 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 40 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 41 minutes, and Tower of Terror at 38 minutes.

After that, Alien Swirling Saucers averaged 22 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy averaged 11 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D averaged 10 minutes, and Walt Disney Presents and Star Tours – The Adventures Continue averaged 9 minutes.

SURPRISE REOPENING: A Hollywood Studios Ride Is BACK

Animal Kingdom

And last but not least, let’s talk about Animal Kingdom! Avatar Flight of Passage still had the longest average wait time this park this week with 73 minutes. This means the time went up a bit from last week’s 69-minute average.

Following that, Na’vi River Journey at 59 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 25 minutes, Kali River Rapids averaged 23 minutes, Expedition Everest at 22 minutes, and DINOSAUR at 15 minutes.

It’s Tough to Be a Bug averaged 10 minutes and TriceraTop Spin averaged 5 minutes. Both The Boneyard (which is currently closed for refurbishment) and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail averaged no wait time.
