The EPCOT Food & Wine Festival gets all of the attention.

WELCOME to the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival!

But there’s also a Food & Wine Festival on the West Coast, in Disney California Adventure, and you don’t want to sleep on this feisty little festival!

The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is an annual celebration of global cuisine in, you guessed it, Disney California Adventure.

The 2023 DCA Food and Wine Festival featured 12 Festival Marketplaces. These booths, similar to what you find at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, offer appetizer-sized portions of dishes as well as cocktails, beer, and wine. Additional dining locations in the park also serve specialty food and drinks items throughout the event. Even select restaurants in the Downtown Disney District are presenting specialty menu items as part of the event! Be sure to click through to all of the individual pages from HERE to see photos and details about every drink and dish!

Uncork California

From signature dinners to celebrity chef appearances, there are often lots of special, separately ticketed Special Events to make your visit to the DCA Food and Wine Festival something extra special. In 2023, the epicurean encounters included Carthay Circle Winemaker Receptions, Trader Sam’s Mixology Seminars and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa Food and Wine Experience. Local, visiting, and Disney chefs share their knowledge at the Festival! For instance, you’ll find a COMPLETE LIST of the presenting chefs at the 2023 Culinary Demonstrations here.

Bigger and Bolder Beer Flight!

Be sure to keep an eye — and ear! — out for special Festival entertainment such as live music at Palisades Stage and the Paradise Gardens Bandstand and the Jammin’ Chefs.  

Now, to experience all of these Marketplace booths and live entertainment, do you need a separate ticket for admission to the festival?

It’s time to EAT!

Here’s the good news — you don’t! You will need valid admission to Disney’s California Adventure, but while you’re in the park, you’re welcome to enjoy the festival’s festivities. Of course, if you want to actually eat any of the tempting treats and snacks, you’ll have to pay for those!

Do You Need a Ticket for the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival? A Quick Guide.

There is a special pass you can purchase, the Sip and Savor Pass. The Sip and Savor Pass is a souvenir credential that features eight pull-off tabs for a set price (in 2023, it was $59.00). Magic Key holders can present their valid pass and a photo ID to get a special price (in 2023, it was $54.00) and lanyard. But you don’t need one to enjoy the Festival.
