Disney World is changing in ways that you may not expect.
Disney recently had its Q2 Earnings Call where we got to learn more about what demand is like for Disney+ and the Disney theme parks. During the call, Disney did mention that demand for the parks was going down now that the 50th anniversary is over which could explain the strange crowd patterns and lower Genie+ prices during a typically busy time of year. It looks like this could also be impacting the wait times — let’s take a look!
Magic Kingdom
Starting in Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time of 67 minutes. Last week the average wait time was 69 minutes and the week before that it was 72 minutes, so the time has continued to decrease.
Next, Peter Pan’s Flight averaged 57 minutes, Jungle Cruise averaged 46 minutes, and Space Mountain averaged 40 minutes. After that, average wait times had Haunted Mansion at 34 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 29 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 27 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 26 minutes, and Enchanted Tales with Belle averaged 23 minutes.
After that, “it’s a small world” averaged 17 minutes, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and The Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini averaged 14 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway and Mickey’s PhilharMagic averaged 13 minutes, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant averaged 12 minutes.
Next, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover averaged 11 minutes, Mad Tea Party averaged 8 minutes, and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel averaged 7 minutes. The Enchanted Tiki Room, Carousel of Progress, the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, and the Liberty Square Riverboat all averaged 5 minutes.
The Hall of Presidents, Country Bear Jamboree, and Tom Sawyer Island averaged no wait.

EPCOT
Heading over to EPCOT, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure had an average wait time of 56 minutes — this is a slight decrease compared to last week’s average of 58 minutes. Frozen Ever After’s wait time stayed the same as last week after decreasing to 59 minutes — that makes these the highest average wait times in the park.
Next up is Test Track at 47 minutes, Soarin’ at 24 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush at 15 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 14 minutes, and Spaceship Earth at 9 minutes.
Then, there is Living with the Land at 8 minutes, and The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Gran Fiesta Tour, and Journey into Imagination at 7 minutes.
Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China had no wait times this week.

Hollywood Studios
Like many rules, there was one major exception to the wait time decrease trend — Rise of the Resistance’s wait time went up to 82 minutes this week (compared to 67 minutes last week). Slinky Dog Dash was the second-highest wait time in the park with a 65-minute average, which is a decrease from last week’s 70-minute average.
Other wait times in the park include Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 47 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 46 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 43 minutes, and Tower of Terror at 36 minutes.
After that, Alien Swirling Saucers averaged 23 minutes, Walt Disney Presents averaged 17 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D and Star Tours – The Adventures Continue averaged 10 minutes, and Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy averaged 9 minutes.

Animal Kingdom
And last but not least, let’s talk about Animal Kingdom! Avatar Flight of Passage still had the longest average wait time this park this week with 70 minutes. This means the time went down from last week’s 78-minute average.
Following that, Na’vi River Journey at 59 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 30 minutes, Expedition Everest at 24 minutes, and Kali River Rapids and DINOSAUR at 22 minutes.
It’s Tough to Be a Bug averaged 10 minutes and Triceratop Spin averaged 7 minutes. Both The Boneyard (which is currently closed for refurbishment) and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail averaged no wait time.
