Halloween can be SCARY at Disney World, but not for the reason you’d think.
While spooktacular fireworks and a ride on the Haunted Mansion may be enough to give you the shivers, once you see the PRICE you’ll have to spend on your Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets, you might really be frightened. But not all Halloween party dates are priced equally. So let’s take a little of the fright out of your planning and talk about the CHEAPEST days to go to this Halloween event.
Not sure what Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is? Well, this is a Halloween-themed event that takes place AFTER Magic Kingdom has closed for the day to “regular” people in Disney World.
To enter the party, you’ll need to buy a specific, separate ticket for it. These tickets are available as early as April 27th, 2023 for guests with reservations at Disney hotels. All other guests can purchase tickets starting May 2nd, 2023.
With your Halloween party ticket, you get:
- Access to Magic Kingdom starting at 4 PM
- Access to the Halloween party from 7 PM to 12 AM
- The chance to view the Halloween-themed fireworks and Halloween-themed Boo-to-You Parade
- The ability to go on select Magic Kingdom rides with slightly limited crowds (as the park will be open only for party guests)
- Access to exclusive snacks (which you can purchase)
- FREE candy through trick-or-treating
- And ride overlays, access to exclusive merchandise, special entertainment, unique character appearances, and MORE
Halloween party tickets vary in price depending on the date you want to visit. The cheapest tickets start at $109 per adult and $99 per child. These tickets are available on the following dates:
- Tuesday, August 15th
- Friday, August 18th
- Tuesday, August 22nd
- Friday, August 25th
- Tuesday, August 29th
None of those dates work for you? Then you can go for tickets the next price up at $119 per adult and $109 per child. The dates included for these tickets are as follows:
- Friday, September 1st
- Monday, September 4th
- Friday, September 8th
- Sunday, September 10th
- Tuesday, September 12th
- Friday, September 15th
- Sunday, September 17th
If those don’t work for you, your next cheapest options are the tickets priced at $149 per adult and $139 per kid. These are available on:
- Friday, August 11th
- Tuesday, September 19th
- Friday, September 22nd
- Sunday, September 24th
- Tuesday, September 26th
- Thursday, September 28th
- Friday, September 29th
- Sunday, October 1st
Still not finding dates that are a good fit? There are tickets for $169 per adult and $159 per child on the following dates:
- Tuesday, October 3rd
- Thursday, October 5th
- Monday, October 9th
- Tuesday, October 10th
- Thursday, October 12th
- Sunday, October 15th
- Tuesday, October 17th
- Thursday, October 19th
- Sunday, October 22nd
- Tuesday, October 24th
- Thursday, October 26th
The next range of tickets are priced at $189 for adults and $179 for kids and are available for the following dates:
- Friday, October 6th
- Friday, October 13th
- Friday, October 20th
- Friday, October 27th
The most expensive tickets are those for Halloween night and surrounding dates (no surprise there!) and they’re priced at $199 per adult and $189 per kiddo. The available dates are as follows:
- Sunday, October 29th
- Tuesday, October 31st
- Wednesday, November 1st
Important tip: If you’re an Annual Passholder or Disney Vacation Club member, you can get a $10 discount on your tickets to the party, so take advantage of that to get some extra savings!
Also, note that you do NOT need separate Magic Kingdom tickets or a Park Pass for this event. As an extra reminder, your ticket to the party will give you access to the park starting at 4 PM, and then the party at 7PM. So it could take the place of a “regular” park ticket if you want to justify the cost that way. But you will not have as many hours in the park as a regular park ticket would give you. However, you may get on more rides than during a normal day since crowds will likely be lower during the party.
Is the party worth the cost? That’s a decision that ultimately will depend on what you want and what’s important to you. If trick-or-treating in Disney World (costumes allowed, with some restrictions), seeing unique characters, and watching a party-exclusive parade sounds like a dream to you, then it might be worth the purchase.
