A NEW Hotel Could Be In the Works Near Disney World

There are a lot of changes happening at Disney Springs.

Summer House on the Lake is opening this year, we saw these changes to the menu at the Edison, and the UGG store closed recently. Between shopping and restaurants, there is so much that Disney Springs offers. There are many hotels to choose from around Disney Springs and there might be a new one coming soon!

According to the Orlando Business Journal, “A new boutique Hyatt-brand hotel is in the works, joining a cluster of others just northeast of Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs complex.” There was an application filed on March 20th with Orange County to build a 110-room Hyatt House hotel at 11901 Ravallo Resort Drive.

There is currently a Hyatt House across from Universal Orlando as well. We did recently tour the Drury Hotel, which opened a half mile away from Disney Springs. The Drury Hotel did offer some Disney perks including early park entry and transportation to all four theme parks, so it’s possible that this new hotel could too!

We’re unsure if the potential new Hyatt House would gain those Disney perks as of now, but we’ll keep an eye out. As we get more information on this potential hotel, like an opening timeline and amenity information, we will keep you updated!
