If you were out in EPCOT this morning, you may have seen something interesting!

EPCOT has been a hot spot for activity over the past few months (what else is new?!) with the Festival of the Arts, Flower and Garden Festival, and of course, everything EPCOT regularly has to offer but we spotted something we haven’t seen lately here. Check it out!

We may have spotted the early stages of something in the works for Disney and it really caught our interest. If you were out at EPCOT early this morning you probably got a full view of it as well.

EPCOT filming?

It was quite the scene and hard to miss! It appears that Disney could be filming something like a commercial or TV spot right at the front entrance. The cameras seemed fixed at a prime location that many of us like to take photos of when we’re walking into the park (who doesn’t want a picture of Spaceship Earth?!)

With the EPCOT transformation underway, Disney World announcing events for the 100th celebration, and the opening of the Journey of Water– inspired by Moana attraction quickly approaching it wouldn’t surprise us to see that tied into the finished product. It seemed that it was business as usual for everyone visiting EPCOT with the exception of walking around the massive camera crane and the tech hands.

It’s always exciting to see Disney showcasing their parks so while we don’t have much information just yet, it will be something we will keep our eye on for a bit! For the latest in Disney parks news, stay tuned with us at DFB!
