Disney’s Animal Kingdom has seen quite a few menu changes recently at locations like Tiffins and Yak & Yeti restaurant, but the permanent removal of a favorite menu item has us talking.

We’ve seen this menu item come off and back on the menu at Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe but now it may be gone FOREVER!

If you’re familiar with Yak & Yeti and couldn’t get a reservation to dine inside (or just wanted a quicker option) chances are you’ve tried out the offerings at their quick service window, Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe. 

Yak & Yeti Local Foods

This location is home to popular menu items that are featured in Yak & Yeti like Pork Egg Rolls, Chicken Fried Rice, Koren Fried Chicken Sandwich, and sometimes (but also sometimes not) Mango and Chocolate Pies. 

Mini Mango Pie

The Mango Pie is now off the menu and after speaking with cast members working at Yak & Yeti were not certain it will be coming back. Cast members cited a supplier issue as to why the mango pie was removed from the menu and not certain it will be making (another) comeback.

Not only is the Mango Pie no longer listed, but the Chocolate Pie has also been swept from the menu. However, the pies weren’t the only desserts that Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe offered. You’ll still have dessert options with Banana Pudding Parfaits, Cookies & Cream Parfaits, and Frozen Lemonade Cups.

Yak & Yeti Quality Beverages

Occasionally — read that as when you could catch it open — Yak & Yeti Quality Beverages would also be serving Mango and Chocolate pies however, they have also disappeared from their menu too. This is the side window to yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe which is only open limitedly.

Local Food Cafe

If you find yourself missing the Mango or Chocolate Pies, don’t fret! These are distributed by Kenny’s Pies and can be found in local grocery stores like Publix or Kroger in the refrigerated case of their bakery.
