Disney’s Space Mountain Is CHANGING for a Limited Time

Disneyland has seen a number of changes over the past few months, and more are on their way!

There are all kinds of 100th Anniversary snacks, merchandise items, and more at the Resort now, plus a new exhibit Haunted Mansion fans won’t want to miss. But if you’re a Star Wars fan, there’s MORE fun in store.

Hyperspace Mountain will be coming BACK to Disneyland Park soon! It’ll return as part of Star Wars Month, which will be celebrated from May 1st through June 4th, 2023.

It Will Take Over Space Mountain!

Don’t know what Hyperspace Mountain is? Basically, it’s a Star Wars overlay at Space Mountain.

It transforms the iconic attraction into an epic Star Wars adventure where you may encounter Rebel X-wing starfighters, Imperial TIE fighters, blaster fire, and much more!

So Fun!

Space Mountain will temporarily transform into Hyperspace Mountain starting May 1st. Space Mountain is expected to reopen (and be back to its “usual” form) on June 5th, 2023.

Back in 2022, we saw this done in late April as well, in anticipation of May the 4th (as in May the 4th Be With You — a.k.a. Star Wars day!).

What’s Going On?!

During Star Wars month, those at Disneyland will be able to enjoy some special moments like “epic encounters, exciting flavors and more.” Disney is set to reveal more details soon, so we’ll be on the lookout for that!
